The organisation is a source of very specific knowledge; a network and cultural community that engages directly with women’s film and video work, and with the question of how to make this knowledge more publicly accessible. Showing works from the Cinenova’s archive, Hedditch discusses the organisation’s history, identity, and future. This project is co-organised with Isla Leaver-Yap. alsoLesley Mcdermott via Isla Leaver-Yap Afterall • Summer 2011 • Disobedient Video in France in the 1970s: Video Production by Women’s Colle afterall.orgCathy Bernheim, Ned Burgess, Catherine Deudon, Suzanne Fenn and Annette Levy-Willard, Grève des femmes à Troyes (Womens Strike in the City of Troyes), 1971, black and white video, sound, 55min.
