prefab is an exhibition of works exploring the impermanence of a previous era. Lesley McDermott, Angie McLaren, Carolyn Mason and Linda McLaughlin use materials to challenge and provoke personal responses on issues from women's role in society and our childhood, to the influence of our environment and experiences on what we become. Works presented include prints drawn from feminist text alluding to shifts in current attitudes to equality, handmade paper hangings that trap personal items, and a christening dress stitched meticulously from condoms.
